«Craneship» has officially delivered an ice-class tugboat, built on project TUG31/5000/Arc4.

The multipurpose ARC4 tugboat able to escort high-tonnage ships «Irbis» is the fifth ship, built on the project.

Other 4 vessels are successfully operating in Azov-Black Sea basin, Baltic basin and Far Eastern basin

The vessel’s propulsion system will consist of two US 255 P30CP Rolls-Royce azimuthal steerable propellers, two Caterpillar 3516-HD DITA propulsion engines, and a composite shaft.

The project was developed by «Transship-Design» engineering bureau.

• Power: 5070 h.p.
• Speed: 14.5 knots
• Length: 30.87 m.
• Beam: 11.20 m.
• Height: 5.52 m.
• Draught: 4.93 m.
• Bollard pull: 70.2 tons

21.07.2013 at “Craneship” shipyard laid the keel for a new vessel on TUG31/5000/Arc4 project, construction number 606.

At the and of February 2014 the tug was solemnly launched.
